Ladder Safety
Unfortunately, I have heard of too many accidents among family and friends related to unsafe acts on ladders. For example, today I received a phone call from a close friend, informing me that his father's major shoulder surgey was a success. The injury was a direct result of his father falling of a ladder, due to no using it properly. Please take time to read the ladder link below in Safety Tips You Should Know.

I broke my foot when the ladder slipped while I was painting the trim of my parents home. I was about 12. I recall getting a glimpse of my father and two younger brothers watching the ballgame as I shot passed the living room window. They sure had a mess of oil paint to clean up, while I laid on my bed in agony!
ReplyDeleteI know my Father in law was trimming a tree in his back yard and fell off the ladder and broke his arm. Luckily the chainsaw he was using had a safety shut off and stopped itself. He said he was trimming the tree and fell, he said he woke up on the ground a little while later.
